The Brazilian Symposium on Information and Computational Systems Security (SBSeg) is a scientific event promoted annually by the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC) and represents the main country forum for the dissemination of research results, debates, exchange of relevant ideas and activities related to the safety of the information and computer systems, integrating the community researchers and professionals working in this area.

In 2020, the 20th will be held in Petrópolis - RJ from 13 to 16 October, organized by National Laboratory for Scientific Computing (LNCC) and Inmetro (National Institute of Metrology, Quality and Technology). This edition of SBSeg is under the general coordination of professors Fábio Borges - COTIC / LNCC and Rafael Machado - Inmetro in the city of Petrópolis, Rio de Janeiro. SBSeg 2020 will be a unique opportunity for attendees to enjoy the technical sessions, short courses, workshops and lectures given by internationally renowned guests and the diverse cultural attractions of the Imperial City.
